Sarah Shay is a writer, musician, and podcaster from Seattle. She plays nerdy songs on ukulele about dead poets, time travel, and fictional hobos, which are usually funny but sometimes sad. She strives for a balance between folk balladry and “you see what I did there” pop culture references, and has been told that she occasionally finds it.When not singing her own songs, she plays washboard with other bands, writes short fiction, and co-hosts the Pilot House podcast with Strangely Doesburg.
