Ready to cut loose and shake a leg? Need to brush up on your form for a waltz? Clockwork Alchemy is offering dance lessons throughout the weekend whether you are just beginning or need a little fine tuning.
2025 Dance Lesson Schedule
Basic Waltz
Acacia Ballroom Fri 1-2 pm
Basic Waltz – Learn the basics of the lovely Victorian waltz. Our class will begin with footwork but will focus primarily on style, elegance, posture and partnering along with some beautiful open waltz variations to keep you from getting dizzy.
Patterned Waltz
Acacia Ballroom Fri 2-3 pm
Pattern Waltz – Learn and dance some lovely choreographed waltzes including the popular “Congress of Vienna.” These elegant but simple patterns are fun on their own, but they also teach valuable waltz variations that can be used on the dance floor with your partner during free waltzes.
Beginner East Coast Swing
Peninsula 7 Sat 10:30 – 12 pm
Join us as we learn the fun-dementals of East Coast Swing. No partner or experience required.
Ballroom Refresher
Peninsula 7 Sat 4-5:30pm
Join us for a crash course in waltz, foxtrot, and other vintage ballroom dances in preparations for the evening’s Forgotten Mists Ball. No partner required.
Afternoon Dance
Acacia Ballroom Sun 1-4pm
A delightful afternoon of Victorian, Edwardian and Victorian Steampunk waltzes, waltz mixers, and other vintage couple dances that both accomplished dancers and beginners can enjoy. No partners required. Dances range from the ever-popular “Congress of Vienna Waltz” to “The Haunted Mansion” Steampunk Waltz Mixer and the classic anime “Waltz for the Moon.” All pattern dances and mixers will be taught and called.
