Lee Presson and the Nails (LPN) are an award-winning big band out of San Francisco. Led by the manic Lee Presson, LPN has been pounding out their peculiar brand of sinister swing since 1994. They are, if we are to take their word for it (perhaps not a safe choice in general, but we see no good reason not to in this case), the “wackiest swing band in the Great 48!” They have been warmly embraced by the steampunk community despite their frequently expressed confusion as to why this might have occurred.
