Clockwork Alchemy Health Policy

Effective for 2026

Clockwork Alchemy (hereafter “the event”) is adopting the current California safety measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and other communicable diseases.  Please be advised that a risk of exposure to communicable disease, including measles, RSV, flu, norovirus, Covid-19, and others, exists at events in public spaces.

By attending the event, you acknowledge this inherent risk on behalf of yourself and/or any Minor (under 18 years or age) attending the event for which you serve as Guardian (collectively, “You”) and, as a condition of entering the event. You acknowledge, understand, and confirm you will abide by all terms of admission and participation (as may be updated from time to time) and event health-and-safety requirements, all local public health regulations and guidance from the State of California and the county of San Mateo (https://www.smchealth.org/coronavirus) which are in effect at the time of entry.

  • Proof of vaccination is not required for event entry.
    Vaccination and booster doses remain recommended by the CDC and the State of California 
  • Masks are not required in convention spaces.
    Anyone who wishes to wear a mask is encouraged to do so. Complimentary masks are available at the Info Desk.
  • Please be mindful of your health and the health of others.
    If you begin to feel unwell during the event, please put on a mask and limit close contact.
    Avoid coughing or sneezing near others.
  • Please do not attend the event if you are sick.

Common-Sense Safety Tips

Do:

  • Get vaccinated and stay up-to-date with boosters.
  • Isolate if you begin to feel unwell at the event.
  • Consider wearing a mask in crowded areas.
  • Get tested and stay home if you are sick.
  • Wear a mask to help protect vulnerable individuals.

Don’t:

  • Assume you cannot get or transmit an illness because you feel fine.
  • Assume others are vaccinated.
  • Attend large events if you are sick.
  • Travel while sick.
